Sigrid U. Zaehringer Discusses NLRB Decisions Affecting Non-Union Employers

On February 28, 2013, Sigrid U. Zaehringer gave a presentation for the MRA’s Annual Employment Law Update.  Ms. Zaehringer discussed recent developments under the National Labor Relations Act and how the decisions of the National Labor Relations Board are increasingly affecting non-union employers in the areas of social media, employment handbooks, and common employment practices.
Ms. Zaehringer also participated on an attorney panel which discussed issues of concern for all employers, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act, drug testing laws, and Fair Labor Standards Act exemptions.
